Jordana Brewster is Mrs. Smith? ... so *tear* beautiful

Moviehole reports that Jordana Brewster (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, The Fast and the Furious) has been cast in ABC's "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" pilot. She'll take over the role made famous by Angelina Jolie in the feature, which co-starred Brad Pitt.

The site adds that the pilot picks up six months after the end of the film and follows our typical suburban married couple - who just happen to be undercover assassins on the side – as they struggle to keep the spark in their marriage going, even as they try to save the world.

The project is being targeted for a fall 2007 premiere. Doug Liman and Simon Kinberg are reprising their roles as director and writer, respectively. Liman, Kinberg and Dave Bartis will executive produce.

Filming is expected to start in March

How do you replace the smokin' hotness of Angelina Jolie? With the inferno of hotness Jordana Brewster! This may be sacriledge but I think Jordana will make a even more smokin' Mrs. Smith. Now if they cast Steven Strait as Mr. Smith I don't think I would be able to make it through an episode of this show without swooning (you know 4 or 5 times).

Jordana on my screen every week (hopefully, if the show doesn't suck), so ... *tear* beautiful...

Building up the girlslash potential bit by bit

The newest addition to the Painkiller Jane cast ... Alaina Kalanj as Maureen Bowers.

I have no idea what Maureen's function on the show is, but as long as she is in the same room as Loken's Jane Vasko there will be chemistry. Loken is incapable of being on screen with an attractive woman without there being les!yay, and Alaina more than fits the bill. Here's to hoping she's part of Jane's DEA unit or whatever, and they get to help each other tighten their tactical vests and strap guns on each other.

So Kristanna made her first (brief) appearance on TLW on Sunday. Our tall glass of lemonade appeared just long enough to tease us with cool, refreshing, Norwedgian-American hotness, and then with an arm touch of promise went of to mingle with the soccer moms so that Shane could look at a drawing and get misty-eyed.
