fembuckUgh. I'm back to work now. Which means busy and tired. My two months of leisure got me into HORRIBLE sleeping patterns, and I am now suffering because of it.
Classes are going well so far, though it's really hard to gauge what the kids are going to be like based on the first day. They are always so polite and quiet on the first day. Hopefully they'll stay that way once they get used to me! I'm pretty sure the grade nines will remain absolutely precious, and that makes me happy.

Juno scribe Diablo Cody opens up to The Frisky about her new horror flick called Jennifer’s Body, out September 18. Here’s what the 31-year-old writer said:
On the “lesbian kiss” between Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried in the film: “All right, if the two protagonists of the film were a guy and a girl and in a particularly tense moment, they shared a kiss, no one would say it was gratuitous. But the fact that they’re women means it’s some kind of stunt. It was intended to be something profound and meaningful to me and to Karyn [Kusama, the director]. Obviously we knew people were going to totally sensationalize it.”
If it's not profound and meaningful, Diablo Cody better watch her back! If you're gonna be a stunt kiss in fine, but you better own up to it being a stunt kiss or I'mma gon' cut you! If however, it it profound and meaningful I might forgive Diablo for Juno.

She says she's still miffed after 2008 photos that surfaced of her wearing flesh-colored underwear on the Jennifer's Body set.
"People take everything from you when you're in this business. Your anonymity is stripped from you," she says. "They invade every part of your personal life, your relationships. Everything you say gets judged, everything you do gets judged. Literally all I have left are my private parts and I don't want to also share them with the world. I'd like to keep them private. That's why they're called that!"
Go girl! And if anybody doesn't like you keeping your private parts covered ... FUCK 'EM! Lord knows, I posted those naked pictures of Milla Jovovich, but it was her choice to very tastefully show her goodies off, and if you don't want to do that Bird, that's okay with me as well.
And speaking of Teh Jovovich ... SHE'S IN TORONTO NOW TOO! Jesus God, please let me run into her or Mega Foxy on the weekend when I'll actually be able to get out! *sigh* I've actually got tickets for some pretty good screenings, but goddamn I wish I had been able to get tickets to a movie with one of them in it or Cracks.
I am now going to go and watch Warehouse 13 (there better be some quality Leena in this one PTB!) and then the skies the limit! ... ... not really, I'm probably gonna read some more of Valley of the Dolls and then go to bed at a reasonable hour because I have to work in the morning *sob*!

Like, I'd completely forgotten she was the cute chick on the plane who hit on Heck in Imagine Me & You. Because, great googly-moogly, the woman is gorgeous and I love her friendship with Katie McGrath and, honestly, it's taking everything I have to *not* write RPF about those two, especially with Katie in glasses.. rrrowwrr!

*sigh* Oh Cody, you make it so hard to like you when you continually OPEN YOUR MOUTH!! Why are people sensationalizing it? Like, say the studios who are using it in the trailers or the fact that you put in a line such as 'I go both ways'. I'd like her a heckuva lot more if she'd just say 'yeah, I put that shit in there 'cuz I knew it'd put butts in the seats'. Which brings me to..

Megan Fox reminds me a LOT of Katherine Heigl (who I also love). In that, she's not playing the Hollywood 'game', she's not presenting herself as the girl next door or your potential best bud. And I think a lot of the hate comes from her not 'confining' herself to an image of what a starlet, let alone a woman, should be. I'd say Olivia Wilde falls into the same category but isn't as pilloried as either Fox or Heigl, although there are segments of the House fandom that hate Wilde for no other reason than being female.
Which is all my way of saying I love her more and more everyday.. to an almost frightening degree. And I honestly don't blame her for not wanting to do nude scenes. I can only imagine how much crazier the drooling fanboys would get should she ever drop trou.
I am now going to go and watch Warehouse 13..

I think what sold it for was the recent episode when Myka is running around in casual clothes and she's wearing.. sneakers. So many shows today would have had her running about in six-inch heels and it was one of those small little things. Although, the episode really begged the question of 'where the Heck was Leela'?

Yeah, I liked that touch too. It was super cute. In fact, I hope that they keep on having Myka be adorably geeky instead of having her act like a bitch. She was extremely crush worthy in the last episode and her interactions with Claudia were so cute.

I know! I am not at all appreciating the lack of Leena! I really like the Leena character, and the shallower viewer in me likes looking at the actress playing her as well. Leena works really well with the the team and with Arty. She needs to be on screen more!
