I want Rhona Mitra to do terrible, terrible things to my body ... repeatedly.

As far as I'm concerned, Rhona Mitra is now the ultimate badass female action movie star.

*looks at Milla Jovovich, Angelina Jolie and Kate Beckinsale and shrugs*

As for the movie itself, it was ... beautifully retarded.

That's a compliment, by the way :D

Doomsday is B movie making at it's best. It aims to deliver a fun, mindless, thrill-ride by shamelessly ripping off any movie it can (Mad Max, Mad Max: Thunder Dome, 28 Days/Weeks Later, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Tomb Raider, The Chronicles of Riddick, just to name a few), and a fun, mindless, thrill-ride is what is delivered.

The movie does not wink at it's audience trying to convince them of how clever it is, and it's not weighted down with attempts at postmodern cleverness. It's just kickass action scenes (it has one of the best chick fights in recent memory), one-liners, Rhona Mitra looking criminally hot in her black tank-top of invincibility, exploding shit, and blood. It is highly illogical, there are plot craters, character development is non-existent and it is full of WTF moments, but I found it to be completely and utterly entertainingly.

It's like Planet Terror only better.

So, in conclusion Doomsday was no The Descent (which I have an insanely amount of love for), or even Dog Soldiers for that matter, but it was a fun, kickass movie, with a dead sexy ass kicking female lead ... and really, what more can you ask for?

Title: Hippocratic Ohhh
Author: Janine
Pairing: Cherry Darling/Dr. Dakota Block
Rating: R
Disclaimer: I don’t own any of these characters; I’m just borrowing them for sexy time.
Summary: Two women, three legs, machine guns, hyprodermic needles, and a big bed!

“Doc, your little friends aren’t so friendly. That was downright mean,” Cherry drawled, a smile tugging at her lips as she drew her finger out of her mouth and presented it to Dakota... )

OMG! So good.

Well, "Planet Terror" was just alright. Loved the opening credits with Rose McGowan go-go dancing. That was like the best opening credit sequence ever. Was quite surprised by the fact that Fergie could kind of act. LOVED Marley Shelton (something I never thought I'd say) as Dr. Dakota Block, Freddie Rodriquez was pretty bad-ass as El Wray and is quite the looker, but the movie dragged a little and I was convinced that Cherry and Dakota would make-out in the end and so when they didn't I was irrationally pissed off (I've devised I much sexier ending in my mind, which cheers me up a little though).

"Death Proof" was like the best thing ever though! I LOVED "Death Proof". Some people are like 'oh the first storyline was boring' or 'oh, there's too much talking' blah blah blah. SHUT IT! "Death Proof" ROCKED and it had the best ending possibly ever!

First off, Vanessa Ferlito is HOT! I don't care what you say, her nose has character. HOT!

Secondly, Sydney Poitier is sexy (especially when shaking her ass, and when Vanessa Ferlito is resting her head on her pillowy bosom). And that's SYdney Poitier, NOT SIdney Poitier, she's his daughter (although I'll admit I got a giggle out of seeing "The Girls" title flash by and seeing the name follow because I forgot about the 'y' and was expecting the man himself to show up).

Kurt Russel rocks. I loved him as Stuntman Mike, especially in the second storyline. He was just awesome at the end there.

Tracie Thoms is the coolest motherfucker on the planet. Seriously. I'm pretty sure that after watching "Death Proof" that's a scientific fact. I love Tracie Thoms, I want to have her babies. *swoons*

I was only vaguely aware of who Zoe Bell was before this movie, and I didn't really like her at the beginning but now I love the bitch. She is one awesomely crazy mofo, and can totally handle a lead pipe ... which I think we all know is hot.

Rosario baby, those bangs ... no. Everything else about Abernathy, yes. And she got one of the coolest shots in the movie as well. Awesome.

Serioiusly, "Death Proof" = love.

The 'prevues' they showed before and between the features were awesome as well.

"If you're thinking of opening that door ... DON'T!!"
"If you're thinking of going into the basemet ... DON'T!"
"If you're thinking about seeing this movie alone ... DON'T!"

"Don't" and "Thanksgiving" were my favorites, though I think "Werewolf Women of the SS" wins for best title.
