Gossip Gay - 2x09 - There Might be Blood
Nov. 4th, 2008 06:24 pm*sigh* I love this show.
1. TEH GHEY. You know I have to start off with teh ghey. Waldsen, be still my beating heart. This episode was magical for Waldsen goodness. Serena was being such a good girlfriend at the beginning trying to get Blair into Yaleso they can sex because it's her dream. Best. Boyfriend. Ever. Also, her little hand slap and "stop cracking your knuckles" was so cute *pinches Waldsen's cheeks* and domestic and lovely. I also loved her volunteering Blair to babysit LovesIce-CreamandMagic. Serena seems to love volunteering Blair for shit, and Blair's always like *bitchface* before being all, "Whatever you want dear" about it.
Blair's complete disinterest in Serena's "romance" with Aaron never fails to crack me up. She's all "forget about your merkin and pay attention to me, nobody is around to be impressed by your hetero act". B and S also totally seemed like they were trying to convert LovesIce-CreamandMagic into their fabulous gay lifestyle in that scene in Serena's room. Speaking of that scene, Serena's "You're beautiful, can we PLEASE GO NOW" cracked me up so much. SUCH AN OLD MARRIED COUPLE! Blair's, "Patience, love" comment only made it all the sweeter. It's like they've been through this a thousand times. Sugared up lab Serena is all like "Ruff, let's go! Frisbee! Scooby snack! *chases her tail* COME ON!" and Blair's like, "just sniff me for a while until I'm ready. You know you want to."
Their little lovers quarrel at the bar was cute too, but only because they totally weren't even really mad at each other. I also love how Serena brings out the best in Blair. Serena totes makes Blair want to be a better person (just like Helen Hunt did for Jack Nicholson in As Good As It Gets).
The morning wake up scene ... I mean what is there to say about that. It was just pure WIN. Both of them in their tiny little night things, Serena's hand on Blair's hip, and then touching her arm lightly. Blair running at Serena and pouncing on her lick Serena was covered in chocolate and fairy dust. And then them laying on Serena's bed together all smiley and laughing, planning out their incredibly gay future at Yale together.
*sigh*
Perfect.
( more there might be blood ramblings NOT about teh ghey, behind the cut ... )
