To be fair, Nikita is just as crazy-prepared and protective as Ivy, only Alex is far less straight (or, ya know, "straight"), is rarely a dumbass, when she is a dumbass it can be chalked up to youthful inexperience, etc etc. It's like The Hollows is a badly-written vampire AU of Nikita that somehow got sent back in time...

I still find it interesting that of all the urban fantasy books picked up for tv shows/movies, Harrison's books still remain untouched. Because, as much as I've become disinterested in the books, I'd still like to see them onscreen.

Like, ever since you suggested Maggie Q as Ivy I can't see *anyone* else in the role. And then I think about Bridget Regan as Rachel.. hopefully rewritten enough so she's not so dumb and it's like I've found my Hollows Happy Place!
